Questions About Gnome Audio

I've recently been told that someone has been using the Gnome Audio name without permission to solicit business. This deeply disturbs me that someone would try to use the name of my business to rip people off. If you didn't send your money via paypal to donnballenger@gnomeaudio.com or via snailmail to:

Gnome Audio

1674 Salem Rd

Wellston OH 45692

then i didn't recieve it.

Unless somebody has a GnomeAudio.com email address THEY ARE NOT PART OF THE GNOME AUDIO STAFF. NEVER send money for a Gnome enclosure to any address that doesn't have gnomeaudio.com in the name!!!

To all those concerned, Alex aka BiaBia does in fact work for me. He's an awesome builder and I contract him to build enclosures for me whenever the order volume becomes a little too much for me and my local staff to handle. However he also does enclosures on his own that are not Gnome Audio enclosures. I do design enclosures for Alex, however, unless you specifically order the enclosure thru the Gnome Audio website, you're not recieving a Gnome Audio enclosure. I hate to have to word it like that, however in light of recent events I want to make sure that potential customers are recieving a first rate product that was designed and built to our standards, and not being scammed for their money. Anybody can hop on AIM and pretend to be anybody else, but when you order thru the website, you can be assured that you will recieve a first-quality product. The other reason I have to run my business this way is for tax purposes. If you pay anybody except me for a product that's being sold under my name, I have no way of showing proof that the transaction occured, how much money it was for, and how much of the money was allocated to shipping, materials, packaging etc.

To make this simple for everyone, if you want a Gnome Audio enclosure, order it thru the website. If you want Alex to build you an enclosure, buy it from him directly. If you'd like Alex to build your Gnome Audio enclosure, all you have to do is ask. Because our financial relationship is now based on a percentage, I make sure that Alex is afforded just as much money building enclosures that I design for him as a third party as he does building boxes for me. This way, he gets the benefit of using my name to generate business for himself and I get the benefit of having another awesome builder in my stable to help out when things get hectic around the shop.

On a much lighter note, Gnome Audio is running a special in the month of September.

Due to the popularity of the deal that I ran in the month of August, I've decided that a flat-rate with shipping included is the best way for you as the customer to recieve a great product at a price well below what you'd expect to pay from a local shop and even less than any of our internet-based competitors. Here's how it works:

Any ported enclosure less than two cubic feet gross internal airspace (port and woofer displacement excluded) will be $110 shipped on the east coast and $130 shipped on the west coast. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE WEDGE SHAPED ENCLOSURES!

Any ported enclosure more than two cubic feet gross, but less than 4 cubic feet gross will be $135 shipped on the east coast and $155 shipped on the west coast.

Sealed enclosures, wedge shaped enclosures and enclosures with a gross internal volume of greater than 4 cubic feet will still be quoted on a per-order basis. Ported box plans are $10 each.

someone CAN email a potential buyer with a gnomeaudio email address even if they dont have one. its called a fake emailer. make sure you can respond to the gnomeaudio.com email before taking any further steps.

sincerely, computer store nerd
