Questions about FI BTL

I was planning on getting a Audioque HD312, and have read that it is basically a toss up between the BTL and HD3. The only thing that I have questions about is the warranty, I know the BTL has no warranty but has anybody actually needed to use it. I plan on using a Power Acoustic A3000DB so over powering it shouldnt be a issue. Since both woofers are so close I am leaning towards the BTL just because it just looks better cosmetically to me.

If I decide on the BTL do I need to add any of the options available to make it comparable to the HD3? I figured I would add the cooling because I think cooler is better right? But what about P Chamber, 3rd magnet and HiXmCoil. Im not sure if any of these options come with the HD3.

I just dont want to get the BTL and end up needing to use the warranty that I dont have. And what options should I add to make it comparable to the HD3?

You can buy my fully loaded BTL. I recommend it highly if you are looking to go boom.

I know there have many debates between these two subs and I just want to know if anyone has run into a problem with their BTL and got screwed because there is no warranty. The lack of a warranty is the only concern of mine.

I am hoping someone can maybe explain what a couple of the options available for the BTL mean and do. What is the advantage of a 3rd magnet? What is the HiXmCoil and what is the advantage of it? I guess I dont need to know about the P Chamfer is because when you add cooling it gets rid of that and I think cooling is important.

There may not be a official warranty, but Fi takes care of their customers better than any other company I have ever seen. So I wouldnt worry about it, plus it took 10k watts to make the BTL RIP so I think u'll be fine. But like mentioned earlier, fully loaded or bust.

Get the new model, in between Q and BTL. Fully load it, I believe it has a warranty. Fully-loaded, it is almost the same as a standard BTL.

$450 for a fully loaded 12" BTL doesnt seem that bad to me, now I just have to get Paypal somehow. Is Paypal the only way to order from FI?

I'm sure you could mail Scott money, but I'm positive he prefers PayPal. You can use credit cards through PayPal.

The new model comes out sometime early next month. I was just suggesting it because of the warranty. But you'll be fine with a BTL, even though there is no warranty, Scott/Shawn/Nick will help you out with any problems.

You can use a credit card - credit card orders just go through paypal is the only reason the logo is on the order site, and it's also another method you can use to pay.
