i dont know about anyone else but i have my bass at -4, (0 when setting gains) treble at +7 and my sub pre out at 10/10 when setting the gains with the DMM that way you can back off but not get a clipped signal cause you cannot increase it anymore
This sounds just like the thread from a while back. Dude had a new Q in his truck with a Pioneer HU and it wasn't moving much.
It mostly had to do with his HU settings (and break-in). Pioneers don't hit their pre-out voltage until you reach high volumes. They also won't clip until like 59 out of 60. I'd reset your gains on 55 Volume with sub-out on +6. That way you're able to turn the sub down. My gains are set this way on my 880.
