You have the electrical to support a full bridge amp if you want to consider them. Of the 2 you listed, I would go with the D4S amp. But again, I haven't ran either of them nor have I heard either of them and my opinion is based purely on personal preference and amp dyno videos.

I would not attempt to run any of those amps listed with so little electrical, but I guess if you have a huge number printed on the heat sink that's what matters.

Out of those two I’d get the JP43 simply cause of price and being they are most likely made in the same factory the differences are most likely very minimal.

You have the electrical taken car of. The Sundown or the D4S will do just fine. Take your pick. I've known of the Sundown name for a long time. I've only just recently started hearing of Down4Sound. Maybe it's a good brand that will last for years, I just don't know. But, to do the job, either one will do.

Well, he specifically said a 4k amp. His electrical is good enough for 4k on music. Just because an amp can do 8k doesn't mean you have to run 8k...

How do you figure SALT4 makes 8k? Sundown's website says they make 8k linked, which I assume means two SALT4's.

Salt4 did
4975 at 1 ohm. Certified.
5585 at 1 ohm. Uncertified.

The dyno tests I’ve seen show 6100 ish to clipping at around 550 amp draw. Dynamically it can do 7k plus as many of the Korean amps have lots of capacitance.

Korean made amps with a reputable brand. Nothing special but price is usually pretty good.

I've had alot of the Soundqubed Q series amps including the 7k. They are tanks.

I’m looking at getting a new 4K amp and I was liking at either a Sundown Salt 4K or the new Down4Sound JP43. I would like to hear your guys feedback on either amp.

I've heard the JP33 and it was very powerful. I would save the money and get the JP43. I hope that it doesn't have that bluetooth bass knob though.

Putting out around 10k @ 1ohm.
I think it has a Bluetooth bass knob.
