hey guys, I'm Ryan, new here, but been browsing for a few days... anyway, I need some assistance with my amp. I've had it for a number of years, used it to push two 15" Kicker Golds back in high school, and it was a great little amp! I can't remember exactly when it stopped working, but the power light comes on, but the amp puts no sound out at all... is it fixable or should I toss it? Thanks in advance

Ryan

Do not toss it. These are still sought after amplifiers. Definitely make sure the crossover card is plugged in correctly (if equipped) and also check the rca connectors. Don't see many of them with broken connections on these amps but its worth a look. Power is cheap these days so it may not be cost effective for you to repair the amp if it is defective unless you really love it. You could easily sell this on ebay or here (to me!) even if it doesn't work.

Do the rca inputs feel loose at all? Can you jiggle the barrel of the rca connector and get intermittent sound? Positive the gains are not cranked all the way down? Try setting them in their middle positions just to be sure.

sorry guys, haven't had much time lately to mess with the amp, took the truck in to have the rotors turned, ended up having to buy three new rotors and an axle and axle bearings, just my luck! haha
