Problem with rca line converter and 04 Chevy silverado bose system.

I am installing a rca line converter to my friends truck and have a problem. I hooked the converter to the front left and right speaker wires in the harness to the factory radio. Now only the sub will play and no sound through any of the speakers. Any ideas?

did you tap into the connection or just hookup the LOC straight to the speaker wires lol..

i have a kit for that from my 02 suburban. it cost me 100 bux or something. i dont need it anymore....
