Problem with Gooddeals18.com

The amp was delivered and signed for a week ago
I sent the jbl rep 2 emails and he hasnt replied //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
I'd say give them some time. They're doing something they really don't have to do here and it's unlikely they'll ship it to you via overnight service unless you're footing the bill for that.

I understand that, but I just wanted to know if they received it.

It dont care when it gets here, I was just worried that it didnt arrive

Hello Daniel,Thank you for checking in with me. Unfortunately, our system

does not show that it has been checked in yet. Please reply with the

FedEx tracking number and I will be able to release your replacement

order provided it shows on FedEx's website that the package was received

in. I apologize for this additional inconvenience. I hope this is

helpful.

Best Regards,

Well, imo, I would have tested the amp day one. Not wait like 6 months. And JBL did you a solid by sending you anything out. They could have said "this amp was sold thru unauthorized dealer and we are keeping it for evidenance. Please contact the person you bought from for a refund"

So I think you got a decent result.

At least you got a new amp.

btw, you could have just paid to have that amp repaired and been done with it. All the time and effort wasted was probly more money then the acuall repair.

I don't believe JBL could simply decide to keep the amp without compensating the customer in some manner. Even if they legally could, it would be extremely sleezy to tell the customer to send it in with an offer to replace it as a favor then turn around and keep it - not a good way to earn future business. Unauthorized dealers usually aren't selling stolen merchandise - usually it's stuff bought from a different importer or sold by a distributor to a dealer not in the authorized network.

This I agree with.

Since you (Slammed) had bought a refurb, it's really not reasonable to expect a brand new amp of the exact same model. What is reasonable is for them to either repair the amp you had or replace it with something valued comparably to what you paid for the refurb. It sounds like they chose the 2nd option. You should be thrilled with how JBL is handling this, mad at gooddeals18 for ignoring your problem, and mad at yourself for waiting 6 months to test the amp.
