problem with E10K's

so can i wire my 2 12"K's which are dual voice coils, so that i get a 2 ohm load to my amp? or will it be a 1 ohm?

r u talkin wiring them together or seprately

cuz seperatly u can get 2 ohms but wiring them together will only get u 1ohm i think

actually, I don't recommend a 9volt. besides, double/triple A would be so much easier and cheaper to find. you only need the power that the 1.5V AA gives out to visibly see if the cones are moving in or out. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

well i was just sayin what that guy told me

i used 9 volt and it didnt hurt my sub

but i will think about using a AA next time

well i was given some diagrams to get 2 ohms to my amp per channel...which were similar to the ones posted above.

u dont have to hooked them together if u r wiring each sub at 2 ohms goin to 2 different channels

how do you wire them then....my amp say 400 x 2 at 2 ohms....that means each channel is 2 ohms right?? thats what im going for..

Wiring for single DVC (Dual Voice Coil) Drivers - Single sub set up

K.44 drivers, O.44 Drivers, A.44 Drivers, A.22 Drivers.

Dual 4 ohm - 2 ohm

Dual 2 ohm - 1 ohm

just do each speaker like that
