yes i have 2 e10k.44 and i have one wired at 2 ohm and it works like a charm but when i hook the other at 2 ohm nothing comes out of the sub...i mean nothing

i wired it at 4 ohm and it worked

can anyone help me

and before u ask...yes i checked the wiring a 100 times

your amp is probably not stable at your wiring scheme you have right now. I think you have it wired at 1 ohm, but your amp isn't stable, thus not playing any music....check wiring, check the load...rewire, and bump away

The CL800 is bridgable to 4ohms. And 2 dual4 ohm subs can be wired into 1 or 4ohms. So make sure you have it wired like this...

wait sorry i had it wired at 8 ohm and it worked but when i try 2 ohm it wont

but i have the other sub wired at 2 ohm but it works

And then wire your speakers like this to those two circled outputs...

And your set...
ok i did it like that but it didnt sound near as loud as it did at 2 ohm

my 1 sub was louder than both of them

no need to reply to this thread anymore i found the problem the terminals r backwards the negative is positve and the positive is negative

no it wasnt wiring the terminals were backwards the one that said positive was really negative

no my wiring was 100 %

i guess ED just made a little mistake with the terminals but i dont care it still works lol

That's the reason why everyone should "pop" their subs with a double A batt before installing. it's a safe habit that I've come to get used to. Works for all drivers except tweeters (how the hell you gonna see the cones rise or fall?)

yeah im goin to make it a habbit now lol

i didnt knwo it till some guy from sound illusions told me what to do

take a battery, 9 volt is easiest, and touch one voice coils + to the + of the battery and likewise with the -. the sub should move out if the terminals is labeled correctly. if it moves in, that means that the terminal is labeled incorrectly or you are using the wrong ends of the battery .. now do the same with the other vc. this will tell you which terminal is which.
