Problem with amp

ok so i have a JL 250x1 hooked up to 2 audiobahn flame series subs, and they have worked perfect for a long time and now for some reason when i crank it up and the bass is hittin loud it will just shut off and wont turn back on till after a few days and then it works fine again until i turn it up again, ive tried turning off the truck and turning off the stereo and it never comes back on only after 2-3 days, i also have a PIONEER DEH-P480MP head, someone help me

lol, he just doesnt know any better

but your battery may be running out of juice, you could have your subs wired at too low of an ohm load for that amp, it could be a bunch of different things.

at night i can turn it up and my headlights dont dim at all when it hits, and they have worked for over a year and they just started doing this

It sounds like you may have weakened the amp over time

You really cant tell if you have made it weak. Think about this 250watts for 2 Bahns is not enough power.

yea for 2 600 watt subs, so the subs are pulling more juice than the amp can give?
