Post a link to sub? What kind of music do you listen to?

I listen rock , trap , rap but i like to listen also rebassed songs

4.5 cu ft net. 29hz?

Box External Dimensions
Width x Height x Depth
40.00" x 14.00" x 25.09"
Material Thickness0.75"
Net Internal Volume4.50 ft3
Tuning Frequency29 Hz
Port Area72.00 inch2
Port Inlet
Width x Height
5.76" x 12.50"
Port Length40.89"

Suppose you could drop it to 26Hz (subsonic at 18Hz), or right at fs is 29Hz (Subsonic filter at 20Hz)

But, I'll defer to the master - what sayeth Buck?

Just figure out what's the lowest hz you want to play and figure from there. Somewhere in the low 30's might be good balance for heavy low bass output, I'm not super familiar with these subs or anything, just basing off Fs and music. It's kind of hard to say exactly where for your ears. Anywhere really in the high 20's to low/midish 30hz's. That's more in general statement.

Sub does have a low EBP of 40, though, just noticing. Do they give any box recommendations? I don't see any

You can always email the companies. They're usually there to help. See what they say maybe as far as box size goes. I could still be a noob in some ways but I've never found a way to accurately determine box size from t/s alone. Manufacturers do testing and stuff, at least hopefully they do, usually they seem to, so usually they're fairly solid recommendations in real world scenarios. Not always the case but usually I've found

I modeled one and if I had the space it looks great in a 4th tuned 45hz or so and should peak around 35hz with that sealed type response below that point.
The whole footprint is less than 5.5ft3 gross so its not prohibitively large either. The only solid, hard limiting dimension would be the height at 17.25" unless the baffle was raked internally.
The whole footprint of the thing was 17.25"h x 36"w x 18.5"d so NOT a huge enclosure for sure for a 4th.

As far as ported goes I'd recommend smallish airspace with a single 6" round tuned 36hz or so myself. This is a starter sub and to really play some rebassed you may need to stick with an enclosure that has a sealed side for cone control, even then I'd keep goals in check

3.25ft3/28.27in2 @ 36hz...
