Premier vs Type R vs Powerbase

I'm torn between these three subs. I've heard good things about them all, but I'm still unable to choose between the three. I will be porting these subs with about 700-800 watts. Which would give me the best SQL and SPL out of the three?

I dont know about the powerbase,but I think the premiers with enough power will kill the Type r in sq and shou;d have more output

i honestly doubt it, but its all depends on the install. my vote goes for the R of course.

My vote goes to Pioneer... teh R is a good sub but the spl series from premier are just amazing both in output and in sq.

id go with the premier personally, i have the 3002spl model, and im very happy with it. it pumps out the low end like a champ. it also has a very good mix of sound quality with the spl. id reccomend putting in a box tuned @32Hz +.

awesome sub, mine easially takes 700+watts, and ive seen them wired with 1000+ just be carefull.

I would go for the PBXs for SPL

The Premiers for SQL (Would be a good SPL choice)

The Type Rs for SQ (Would be a good SQL choice)

This is based on the brands you are considering and how I view these subs.

powerbass subs are awesome many poeple will agree if they open the thread. like myself and mr. loki and others honestly in my oppinion i wouldnt put type r and the pioneer in the same category as the powerbass.

How is the SQ on the Powerbass subs? Are the Premiers and R' pretty much the same in SQ?
