Powering this sub

I just aquired a kenwood kfc2505 subwoofer. Its a ten inch the rms is 150 and the max is 600. Can someone recommend me a decent amp to power this thing. I know it isnt much but I am not looking to too much bass. Thanks much

With an RMS rating of 150 (peak wattage ratings are pretty useless figures good for nothing better than a marketing departments projected sales reports) you'll want an amp that outputs in the neighborhood of 150 to 200w RMS at a 4 Ohm load (seeing as your sub has a single 4 Ohm voice coil)

One of the smaller Kicker KX-series amps such as Shanerz suggested could work well (matter of fact - unless she's sold it I think the user Jordantyler on this forum has a KX150.2 that might be perfect for your application for sale)

For reliable power on a budget my goto recommendation is usually Profile.

Have a look here and scroll down to the 200SX. In bridged mode it would give you more than adequate power for your sub and at $39 + shipping factory-direct with a warranty is tough to beat!

Good luck getting it sorted out, friend //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
