Almost bought both the Soundstream 2000d and the 5500d from PA.

I see that now. thanks. I see a few more caps too and resistorsIf you look at them they aren't all identical - yours is quite a bit different. Just a quick thing... the small inductors by the fuses, yours has two the others have four.
They are similar boards but there are MANY variations that look very similar to that at first glance.
Never said it was a great amp, but for the price and someone who is on a budget. Then it is a good choice, there is far worse out there for more money.That board design *****. There's a reason why there is a fan in front of the drive card.
