Almost bought both the Soundstream 2000d and the 5500d from PA.

Ended up going with Hifonics 2608d.

If you look at them they aren't all identical - yours is quite a bit different. Just a quick thing... the small inductors by the fuses, yours has two the others have four.

They are similar boards but there are MANY variations that look very similar to that at first glance.

Never said it was a great amp, but for the price and someone who is on a budget. Then it is a good choice, there is far worse out there for more money.

I don't remmeber very clearly on the exact number, but my PA 5500 was doing just about 1750 RMS @ 1 ohm

And new can be had for 266 shipped

Not bad at all

Should do more than this, I have not seen any figures yet. But I highly doubt a 153 was achieved on 3000 watts
