Wedge box, very solid construction i might add. Weighs about 35 to 40 pounds.

Dimensions are 16.5" H by 28.5" L by 10" Top Depth and 16" Bottome Depth.

2 3" ports each about 18" long.

Tuned to about 30Hz.

If i take out the rug it will fit PERFECT perfect, it's a lil bit high, so isn't completely all the way back, no problem.

Was a BIT*ch to mount!

But i love it!

That what it's in.

Only rattle i have is the license plate, gonna get some rubber washers to fix that, n that's all!!

O yea, my rear view mirror rattles also, LOL, i have to wait till the bass gets low to find out what lane the people behind me are ACTUALLY in.

LOVE IT!!! LOVE ITT!!!

NOPE!! It's pretty stiff material. And i put an l bracket in it to hold it down.

Recommend it to anyone.

I HAVE A CONFESSION!!!

When i was mounting the sub, i had accidently left a 100 ft spoil of 22 awg wire in the box, from when i was bringing it down. And since it was a ***** to get the 12 in there, i left it in there!!

LOL I had to confess.

see, all it takes is one hour and two spray cans of enamel paint. *sigh*
by the way, considering you as an audiophile, you probably bought really nice, expensive subs. I don't think one layer of carpet is going to have a noticable negative effect on the amount and/or quality of sound your speakers are pumping out.
.6 on my classic termlab. Im not an audiofile and could give a shit about anything above 80hz.

I have a stack of paper w/ wiring diagrams inside of mine right now; Ive even left a box of screws inside before.

Dude, that is a PiMP box, I don't care what Hershey or what ever the **** his name is says....

My many cubes is it? How is it vented? I may build one like it, or one for 2 12s with a vent on each end... I like Symetrics

Anyway, I want to build another temp box for either one or two of my XXXs.... Till I get ready to put in the wall.......

Hey Hertzy42... is that a finished enough box for you? Honestly, you can go fu(k a duck because you clearly don't know what it is all about. That box was bare MDF for a good long while before everything was smoothed out and painted and such... your attitude of "I will get my dick sucked if I carpet my box!" just doesn't cut it. Learn to build some of your own stuff and impress us with your incredible sounding boxes and great costmetics and I will give you credit where credit is due, but untill then, shut up and keep your @sshole unprofessional opinions to your self.

nweilbley, whats the thickness of that plexiglass (or did u use acrylic?)?
That is 3/4" plexi, I got it from Ashe Glass co in Tampa. They were moving facilities and I called at the right time: they were clearing out all of their "drop cuts" and were happy to give me 2 square feet (2x1) for $20... not bad considering a 4x8 sheet can be upwards of $700! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Ty, ty for the box comments. The thread for that box is over at http://forums.caraudio.com/vb/showthread.php?t=56278 ... and its like ~ 3.178 cuft tuned to ~30Hz... but it is hard to say with a few changes I have made.

Luckily an Orion 1200D should be here monday to replace the crap Audiobahn A1500HCX that was previously powering it... I'm hoping the Orion brings the sub to life a little bit more, but I am not sure. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

That's definitely a sweet box Nate. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/inlove.gif.6846f78f06b405429ef3a00129788a2a.gif All you guys with your finished setup's make me soo jealous. My mag15 is just sitting in its box waiting to be powered.. and I don't have a dime to buy an amp. But a congrats is surely in order for all of you that have a finished install.. so congratulations, and happy booming. :thumbsup

Is that plexiglass naturally that blue color?
Someone said they could see a neon behind it, but I think it might just be the light reflecting off some mirrored blue plexi-glass...

Here are a few links to a place that has tons of different plexi-products...

www.selectproducts.com they seem to be a tad high on some stuff, but they sell good stuff and are really good to deal with...
