18" BTL 7cu ft box and sundown 3000d

is a 7cu ft box after port displacement to big for an 18 BTL powered by the SAZ 3000D. i know its within the recommended enclosure size but i don't want to risk damaging the sub with that much power in box this size. On a side note will a optima battery up front, Powermaster d3100 in the rear and 250 amp alternator be enough to power this system with a Zapco 1000.4 included?
