possible 150? (trunk car FTL)

I think i finally made my mind up on my setup..since i can afford a new car for a huge system ill work with i got..

2 audiopipe ap30001d's on 4 hdc3 10's(6.9cu ft @ 40hz and thats 1.30cu each and 100sq in of port area) subs on sides and port back.

i hope this will get me to a 148 but im thinking since its in a trunk ill have a hard time..i know a 150 will be possible with a fart box but is a 150 possible with a musical box and everything in the trunk?(last option is porting through the rear deck)

It'll be hard. Contact Rich aka StratusRT01 for some idea since he has done it. Not sure if it was fart box or music but it has been done. I wish you luck man. I am aiming for the same goal with a trunk car that isn't a fart box.

Yep, and here ya go...just an idea...this is what my new enclosure is going to be like...Just make a lip extend down inside the enclosure and bit with mounting points on it along the lip with anchors in place then you can keep making faces of your enclosure and make whatever port size/tuning you want...

Me too haha (making one soon), but just to practice making it with a 10" to make sure the one for the 18 is perfect and ive got it down-pat...

im glad you gave me this idea..but boy i wish i can play music in the 150 range in a trunk car..lol but at least ill be in the 150 club..and may even be in the club with my 12's..lol

Im aiming for 150's myself... I will be firing my sub's into the car from the trunk... I know I have the power and sub's just need to get the enclosure right.

it be hard from the trunk my vote is to seal it off from the trunk with that equipment i dont see why u cant burp 50s but on music? thats an whole new level i got some pics of my cousin car trunk car he played music in the 50s 6 12's in an 4thorder bandpass All sealed off from the trunk firing into the cabin
