Ported or sealed

ive been doing a lot of research lately on ported vs sealed. i know that for type r's they perfered ported, but someone told me since i drive daily i dont need to port them to seal them. i have a bs prefab and i know im choking them which way would u go any suggestions. i just bought a brutus 1200 and i have 2 12.

why would it be any difference since you drive daily ? Sealed will need more power for the same output as ported. Sealed will sound a little better, more for SQ. Depends on what you are wanting out of them, SQ or SPL.

if u listen to rap with loud boomy bass go ported if u listen to rock or other stuff with tight musical bass go sealed
