Ported and sealed!

I just spent the best 100 bucks of my life taking my 2 JL w1 13.5's and putting them in a newly released massive ported box! The loudness difference is incredible! thanks to all of you that suggested to go ported and helped me in my decision it was well worth it!! They are acctually hurting my ears now and thats a feat in itself

I was really impressed when I built my Type-e 10s a ported box. I had always used sealed setups and now I'm ported for life.

are you saying that you bought a prefabed ported enclosure? . . better check your specs for the subs to make sure that you match up to the enclosure that you are putting them in . ..buying prefab boxes that are ported is not always a good choice. yes.

i personally went from sealed to bandpassed to ported, and now i wanna go back to sealed. ported is too sloppy for my taste //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif but i'm glad youre happy with the extra output.
