I am thinking about making a 3.15 cubed box after all displacement and porting it to 28 Hz for 2 12 brahma's. What size/length ports should I use to prevent port noise with 900 watts per brahma? Also, is there abtter box sealed or ported I should think about, the largest I may be able to go would be around 3.6 cubes after displancement.

Ok, it is a wedge shape using 3/4 mdf. The INTERNAL dimensions I am planning on are:

W: 28 (29.5 outside)

TD: 12 (13.5)

BD: 16 (17.5)

H: 16 (17.5)

I will lose 210 cubic in for bracing. This would give me 6062 (3.50 before sub displacement) I did not choose a port but have room on top of it. On top of that if I need more internally I can make my bottom depth 17 (18.5 outside) internally, and a height of 19 (20.5 outside) internally. Thanks you for all your help. I have room to put the ports on the outside of the box so i will not lose any volume, especially is I use pvc, but I can make slot ports if I need to. This is for 2 12 brahma's with 900-1000 watts each

Thanks for your help, will the brahmas be ok with low internal volumes? I am assuming your volume takes into account the port displacement?

You could try to make the port longer, but there might be other reasons with the box won't extend lower, or even the sub. You'd have to reverse...
