ok is gots some rockford he 10s...connected to a rockford 500.2

now my box.....it has one whole chamber for the tens..sharing ths same air......it comes with two ports shooting up ....now..i was wondering

1) generally speaking should the port lengths be as long as possible or fairly short or middle..

the way they are now the ends of them are about an inche from the bottom of the box.......i talked to rockford and they said follow the speakers specs..but in the specs they have a 13.5 incher ports shooting out the sides.....mine is the top and also is only ten inches long to start..

2)should i cut one port short and one port long?? would that make it more like an abc box?????

as they stand now the ports are right in line with each other in dead centre of the box...they are paralel

thnx

That would **** it up more, just rebuild the box to rockfords specs or remove the ports and seal the box if you don't want to build a new one
