It's my last true day of SB, so I was wondering what I should do. The three options are as follows:

1. Get my RC car back into working condition. Traxxas rustler 2.5, about 6-700 into it. Needs a new engine, but I want to see if I can't just rebuild the engine to get it going again.

2. Make a box to show pv audio carpeting technique. People keep wondering how I do it, so maybe I should just make a tutorial and be done with it (yes baseballer, I will)

3. Wash teh auto and change the oil(filter). Need to do it within a week or two, so today's obviously a candidate. What do y'all think? Can't decide.

sell # 1. Used to have one myself and realized it was a never ending money whole....kind of like CA but its cooler. I'd say 3 also, its a good investment to keep your car running well.

K, I already changed the oil lol. Had the car on jack stands as it was, so that's out. It's between RC car and carpeting.

To tex, I'll never sell this car. It isn't a money sink for me anymore, it was a few years ago though. I've had ~4 or 5 of them and this one is easily the best. Full carbon fiber chassis, shock towers, custom bored engine and lightened con rod, aluminum mounts everywhere, not a bushing in sight, this ****er is gold. Stock she would run high 40s at the top end. Clocked this one at 62 mph. It's ****ing fast, still understeers like a mother****er, but it's ******* fast. I really want to get it into working condition again if I can. It's so much fun lol.

No I only did it the other way because I was looking at it and saw that the thing that takes the longest is the box build, so it doesn't make much sense to do that first and waste a shitload of time.

Anyway, me and the professor ripped apart the block, and I can't replace the piston rings I didn't fry. Turns out I was granny RC'ing, not bumpstarting like I should. 30% shot of nitro didn't melt the welds on the intake though. Enough fast and furious, turns out that the piston was scored to hell and back, my custom connecting rod bent somehow (I assume the extra revs allowed it to get hot enough to bend?) so that it doesn't even clear the ports. ****ing carburetor is stuck at WOT cause the servo linkage is bad. Oh well, I'm going to just buy a new engine and carb anyway. But, right now I'm going to home depot to get a new sander to start on the carpeting tutorial. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
