Trailblazer, I am also willing to bet you can get a good chunk of change off what they are asking still as SUV's are not worth shit at the moment due to gas prices. It may change if they stay low though and don't go back to $3.50+/gal

Oil companies right now are cutting drilling programs and delaying projects in light of $50 oil. It's happening all over Calgary (including my company (I'm a petroleum geologist)), and from what we're hearing budget cuts are occuring worldwide.

With less new production to offset production decline (which EVERY hydrocarbon field is experiencing), it's going to be **** tough to keep production levels flat. That affects supply....

And once speculators clue in, it may not be that long until you are wishing that gas was only $3.50/gallon.

I vote get the car. Or something even better on gas than the Impala.

My roomate has a Black 07 SS---they are quick and pretty nice, but **** gas like no tomorrow and that 4spd ****** is really outdated for that engine. A decent ride, but I wouldnt own one.

Only way I am paying close to 20 k on an older car is if it is an older hot rod.

Love the SS Imps from the body style, but no way I would pay that much for it.

I would rock the Blazer SS, but talk him down. They don't hold value like they used too and could probably walk away with that for 27000.
