i was recently down at my local audio shop, and i was gonna meter my car, since i havent in a while, and have made some changes since then. my personal best is a 147.4 with one kicker L7 12 pushed by a jbl1200.1 in my supra hatchback. ok ok...getting to the point...there was a mazda mpv there too(the van), and this guy was bumpin' his sounds, ad it was pretty f-n' loud, and i asked him what he had, and hes running a single 12" planet audio sub. ive never seen it before, and was just wondering if anyone had any info on it, cuz i know what its like to be sitting @ 147db, but this guys car seemed louder than mine!!! wtf. he said he hasnt metered it yet, but im guessing 149-150 man...its pretty loud. ne info on this sub would be appreciated...

You must have been misguided orso, the subs you asked for is actually a sub since planet audio only produced one so far //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

(i recall they made a 10 and 8 also but they seem to be off production lines)

The sub has some good things which is that it does hit hard but is terrible in low and will not last for a long period (something with the dustcap).

Which series was it? Was it a big bang or one of the FU sereies?

I've personally used the big bang series myself. They can get decently loud. Just don't overpower them too long //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
