does anyone know anything about there subwoofers? Pioneer Premier TSW3001D4 championchip series 12s i think they are 1k rm and 3k max but i need to know a little bit about them and how much they are worth.. thanks

I wouldnt get them.. How much are you trying to spend on subs and what amp will power them

the guy is asking around 250 i know i can get them for less. they are already in a box and i dont have an amp..im looking to buy them for someone else

Do you have the cash flow for a 2000RMS amp and depending on coil configuration it could get expensive?. Also do you have the electrical to power a 2000RMS amp?

Those take way to much power to get the most out of them and their most is not impressive compared to whats in the power range

thats not what im worried about. im buying them for someone else would that be a good price already in a box if he can get a 2k+ amp and power them

save his life and get him a better sub....or buy that its a decent price...for that product not really a good deal all and all considering different brands.

You should get some sony x plods. They are 1300 watts

joking man, but if he can get a 2000K amp and everything that goes with it, and you could get a pair for $200 why not

I remember when I was getting ready to get a system for the first time.....some friend tried to sell me 2 12" sony xplodes in a prefab box with an xplode 1000 watt amp. I sidebyside tested it with a couple 1980s paper kicker subs with deteriorating foam surounds clamshelled in a deathbox powered by a 150watt peak 1970s audiobahn amp.....guess which was louder.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

That system is still bumping so far as I know its in the ex's car. That setup mindboggled me hardcore it sounded so good off so little.

ive used several of those premier subs and different series just like them. they get fairly loud, but do need a full 1k each or more to get loud and they dont sound "great." for the money, you can definitely find better subs, both in sq and spl and certainly efficiency.

If I'm going to go through the trouble to make my car capable of powering a 2k amp i'm not going to run pioneers. If you know what I mean
