That sounds good to me, WinISD is saying that will give you a tuning freq. of about 35 hz. I guess that would be alright for daily driving.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

how hard is it to make the ports out of pvc? my system is in the photo gallery. i just put it in there today. should i probaly put the ports the way the subs r firing or on the amp side of the box? this is kinda of a stupid question but with it ported do only frequencies of 35hz and less is what i hear or what??????????????????????

This is a very hard ? to answer and as I said jmac can answer this better than i can. But i'll try. The tuning Freq. of a ported box if the Freq where the cone of the sub will be the least throughout the frequncies being played. You still hear sounds above and below the tuning freq but only the freq's above the tuning freq are the ones amplified by the port(I think). But I do know that you do not want to play Frequncies below the tuning freq cuz the subs cone excursion increases extremely rapidly below this number which can cause the sub to blow if it goes too far too long, that is why when running a ported box it is reccommended that the user use a subsonic filter. But with the power your giving yours I wouldnt worry about it too much, but if you feed it more towards what they can take, 300rms then I would start looking for either an amp with a built in subsonic filter or an inline subsonic filter.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Sorry its long but as i said you asked a very complicated ? and I still didnt answer it fully.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

i learned more than what i knew so i understand what ur getting at. i doubt i will get an amp to give them 300 rms each. my parents bearly let me have this amp cuz of its size. they are too worried about projecting a bad image to people. i live on a farm (just growing corn, no animals) i kinda understand what they say, i think.

He will still only be gettin about what he is already gettin to ech sub now so there is no point in it. Remember you have to take into account that you have to divide that 390 by two and that will be what each sub will get if he bridges it so there is no point in doing it.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

what size of power wire r u guys running? my dad says that people that run like 0/1 gauge wire for 10 feet are complete retards. i have 10 gauge he said that was plenty. cuz we were gonna run electricity out to our duck blind that is like 2,000 feet away with 10 gauge wire cuz that was what an electrician said to use. idk he doesn't have a system so what would he know. but he did help me hook up my system

There is am extremely big diff between 120 volts and 12 volts, at 120v a 100 watts is like .83 amps. At 12v 100 watts is like 8.33 amps:eek: . Thats a big diff, that is why you have to run large power wire to your amp from your battery to power it. But im runnin 410 rms watts and 600 peak watts and im only using 8 guage wire and it does fine. But for you situation with you amp being like 760 watts peak i would run 4 guage to be safe.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
