* Pioneer Engine Whine / Ground Loop Fix*

goes behind the hu....looks matter there too?
well when it come's to other people down the road looking at my work, when they pull the deck out to replace it with another unit or add on, they know the job was done right.

i belive no matter what or where in a car you install something it should look good no matter what. or where it is.

Nice one, dude. I always tried to wrap it around RCA In's on the back of the deck and that ish never worked. I'm gunna go try this now... once I find my HU clip that unlocks the bish. I've been looking for it for a day or two. =(

wow. nothin better than some clean *** wiring.

i guess my pioneers gounded fine, but if i ever notice any engine noise over the actual engine noise ill be pulling this thread back up.

Nice thread I will try this later this week. I was also told if all else fails use these's
pac-sni35.jpg
Which is PAC SNI35. Works like a charm every time. But awesome post. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

To add I also do not think alot of people know on the new pioneer head units it must be grounded good first other wise you blow the little fuse inside the radio for the rca. lmao but you know pro's know this already. Figured I would add for those who don't. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif yes i ALWAYS ground the headunit to a good chassis ground, and the harness ground.

and thanks

wow thank you so much for this article. This saved me big time with my avic d3. I have had it for a year with no issue and then i messed with my crossovers and it started making the alternator whine. I just put the ground from the front outputs to the deck and walah. Thanks soooo much, that alt whine was really getting to me and making me not want to drive lol.

This is a great write up. I bought a 980p deck off ebay that was supposed to be like new, but had the blown pico fuse noise. I've been hooking up car stereo stuff since around 1992, so I'm assuming it wasn't anything I did. Anyways, I wrapped it a different way around the rcas that ended up failing later equaling no sound from the front right. This is a much better way than I wrapped, thanks for sharing!
