I suppose it looks better when you pull out your deck, but it honestly seems like a waste of time to me. I use the other method and have zero noise. It does exactly the same thing, but with less wire, and it only takes a minute to do. That and you don't have to unscrew the ground wire when you pull out the head unit/use spades.

It looks good and I'm sure it works, but I just don't see the practicality in doing this.

you obviously have yet to see the new pioneer decks..

i mostly did it for the how to on the External plug style RCA's...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

 
Seems like more work to me than just opening up the case and soldering across the pico fuse, which I've had to do, to complete the 'ground' connection to the RCAs.
