I suppose it looks better when you pull out your deck, but it honestly seems like a waste of time to me. I use the other method and have zero noise. It does exactly the same thing, but with less wire, and it only takes a minute to do. That and you don't have to unscrew the ground wire when you pull out the head unit/use spades.

It looks good and I'm sure it works, but I just don't see the practicality in doing this.

Mine has been running for over a year how they are pictured in the sticky... No reliability issue at all.

The only aesthetics you have to worry about are on the face of the deck.
