Am I correct in understanding that people love this headunit because they can run an active setup, that it's a highly customizable unit?
Every review, and people here, rave about it. Would I still see a benefit if I get it and run it passive? I have no clue figuring out how to run an active setup. That being the case, would I better off with say the 8700 series? Or an alpine 148 or 149.
I mainly want it to have Bluetooth and Android compatibility. It would be ideal to stay around $150 for it, trying to keep a total budget around $400 for this part of my build. Which includes the components, rear deck speakers, amp and headunit. If you guys think I would benefit from the 80prs with the way I would use I would spring for it.
