I wonder if Pio finally got the RCA internal shorting worked out...I wont even think of trying them again till they fix that lame problem

Yes, the problem has BEEN fixed for a while now. Its just that the ones that are out in circulation that are going in for repair. Pioneer has been using Burr Browns for quite a while now. No, those are all Pioneer decks. NON-Premier that is. I don't know of any Pioneer or Premier decks that have 4 sets of preouts, the upper end decks have only 3 sets. To your second statement: If the specs and features that ndnbolla put down are accurate then NO they will NOT connect to the P9 processor. Because in order to connect to the P9 you would need an optical OUTPUT since the P9 only has an optical INPUT and no rca inputs what so ever.

sides that DAMN KNOB\BUTTON THING they look promising. i really dont like the user interface at all... i hope they change it.

in all honesty, alpine and pioneer are trying to push user integration further and further, and frankly, i dont like eaither approach.

It was mentioned in here that these maybe out May/June. Is that when they usually come out with the new lines from Pioneer? I'm also going to wait for these to come out before getting an 860.

I love the 7800 and 9800BT. Glad I've waited on the 770MP or 8MP.

They should be out within the next month of 2 i think. That is what some of the local shops have told me, plus a few people on the forums.

Those arent much better.

The preimer must have some wicked preout voltage if the normal pioneer line is 5V.

I dislike the "i drive" idea. Its rather annoying at times. Any pics of the remotes ?

I wonder if pioneer U.K will have a newline up, they always looked better than the U.S versions.
