does this HU play dvd MP3's? Instead of making cd mp3 cd's i would like to make a dvd with mp3's on it. will this work?

You could do that. I haven't tried. You won't get the MP3 navigation abilities that the CD's have.

yes that works. I have over 1.5gb on one dvd cd that i listen to all the time on my avic-n2.
