Where is the system?

From the photos, I gather you have a subwoofer, enclosure, and amplifier for your subwoofer. Don't tell me you are yet another one of those typical ca.com kiddies who focused 100% of your budget and efforts in the area of the sound spectrum that produces less than 20% of most musical content?

i know i need some components but thats something i know nothing about all i got is 4 6x9's 2 tweeters, and 2 2.5 inch highs

what do you suggest?

Well, first, I would recommend that you upgrade your front door speakers and I highly recommend 6.5" components in lieu of 6x9s. As for what to get, that depends on your budget. You can start off with some Phoenix Gold RSd 6.5s which sound pretty good for the money, do a DIY component set, OR spend a fortune on a prepackaged Image Dynamics component set.

Whatever you do, I recommend staying away from CDT, unlike the kiddies on this forum. I have yet to hear a set of those Ronald McDonald colored woofers leaving me impressed. Granted, I have only heard three different models of CDT and they all seemed to have a weak midbass output with a distorted midrange.

If you insist on having rear fill to keep your back seat passengers happy, leave those as 6x9s and power them off of the head unit or go with a pair of cheap 6.5" coaxials. There is nothing I hate more than hearing mids and highs coming from behind my head screwing up my stereo image.

Hey tuskilla, on your last two videos(not including the excursion vid) did you had the volume/bass turned all the way up...Im actually getting the same se/x subs x2 installed in my car with a rockford 1500 amp. Curious to how loud it will end up being..

my amps gain is up about an 8th of the way up, no bass boost at all and the remote gain knob is up about a 3rd

bass on the hu is at +2
