Really? I thought when the voicecoil heats up the more resistance the voicecoil has making it less efficient in turning electrical power into mechanical movement which causes more power to be turned into heat rather than mechanical movement.

I was actually impressed. For $20 it sounded pretty good and the box that I picked up at kragen for $13 was crap. I think it used 1/4" particle board. At first I was like wow. It was mostly my amp I think. ONce you turn it up though the cheapness starts to show. Accuracy disappears and the output of the sub actually is less when you turn it up passed a point. It isn't as bad as I though it would be. My k's are tigher/more accurate. My k's play lower as strange as that sounds. My k's play over a wider range. This 15" sounds good in a small range of notes. music outside of this range loses all the bass notes because the sub simply can't reproduce them. The sub comes with a 30 day warranty. I don't expect the sub to last more than a few weeks. I'm not going to try and blow it up I'm just going to play at normal levels until it breaks. The 15" sub is actually lighter than 1 of my 10" k's. It must be that high quality space age 67oz gigamagnet that is lighter but is just as strong magnetically.
