My k's are tigher/more accurate. My k's play lower as strange as that sounds. My k's play over a wider range. This 15" sounds good in a small range of notes. music outside of this range loses all the bass notes because the sub simply can't reproduce them. The sub comes with a 30 day warranty. I don't expect the sub to last more than a few weeks. I'm not going to try and blow it up I'm just going to play at normal levels until it breaks.
I was actually impressed. For $20 it sounded pretty good and the box that I picked up at kragen for $13 was crap. I think it used 1/4" particle board. At first I was like wow. It was mostly my amp I think. ONce you turn it up though the cheapness starts to show. Accuracy disappears and the output of the sub actually is less when you turn it up passed a point. It isn't as bad as I though it would be. The 15" sub is actually lighter than 1 of my 10" k's. It must be that high quality space age 67oz gigamagnet that is lighter but is just as strong magnetically.
