xpl question

right now i have 2 12inch kicker xpl's, i was wondering if anyone ahs messed with them before and kno how much wattage they can take, (there just some subs i picked up untill i have the funds for my 15 xxx)

IIRC the XPL subs were pretty decent subs. They were between the Comps and the Solobarics.

they lied around .88-1.25 sealed,and around 500 watts max.

ok, i have them in a ported box, there single 8 ohm models, so if i buy the bx1500d (to power the xxx later) but run the them in parallel for 4 ohms meaning they'd be getting 500 total rms and 250 to each sub, you think that would be sufficient power to get them moving?

the Xpl's r pretty good.. i use to have 4 12 Xpls single 8 ohms... i ran them at 2 ohm for 600rms to each.. sounded good, but 600 rms is to much power for them... i ended killing 3 of the 4 subs....oh well....
