Ok, for the naysayers, go to explorerforum.com and search for a member named aldive. Fully loaded he gets 32 MPG. He has underdrive pulleys, E fan, a computer tune, and numerous little changes that net him over 30 MPG with 5 people in his car.
no he is totally correct i saw it on the news a few days ago. the only draw back is that it takes alot of effort to do it. it involves turning the car off while at speed on the highway and shifting it into neutal and coasting for a while and then shifting it into 2nd and turning the car back on. or something like that. you can suposedly get like 50mpg with a mid sized suv.you can make that explorer get 30+mpg with a little effort, no BS.

lol doesn't surprise me. Texas loves diesel trucksfor the people saying you can get it cheaper,that varies by location
im in Texas and you can still find f250 or f350 diesels for $20K+ used
