well your best bet would be to check the classifieds but honestly at that price point its gonna be hard to find a woofer that is a d2, takes 1000 and cost the price your looking at. Put it to you like this if i didn't have an eclipse SW9152 coming this week i would buy this in a heart beat(the RLP that is)

That rlp should be able to take around 1100-1200 with the gains set correctly

you should be fine...just some people like to crank their gains so their sub gets "loud"...

I sure would be all over this if I needed a 15". And rl-p is just as good if not better than fi. It's a high output sound quality driver. And at that price it's a steal, they go for at least $100 more than that.

Just keep the gains down on the amp and you should be fine.

I was gonna say the same thing about it compared to FI but didn't wanna speak on it as i never heard the RLP. I've heard the tc2000 which i believe is on the same/similar platform but don't like making any statements on anything i've had no personal experience with

The rl-p kina reminds me of a cross between a jl audio w6 and an spl woofer. Very clean and accurate sounding and it handles a decent amount of power. The outputs pretty nice. I actually just heard a 12 in an extended cab truck.

some amps are labeled gain some arent...does that amp do rated power?
