Phase Control?

What does the subwoofer phase control do? Its settings are 0 degrees or 180 degrees. I've tried playing around with this setting many times in many diff places but i never see a difference.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

That setting would be the same as swapping your + and - wires going to the speakers. Normally, when your sub would be pushing out from the box, it makes it so it is in to the box.
