A shop benched a RSd1200.1 that is rated at 1000 watts into 2 Ohms did about 1390 watts with 14Volts in.

I would bet that the 4 channel amps are at least a little above rated power given the design and no Xe load. At $250 on ebay for the RSd500.4 they are worth it if they put out rated power...The amps sound good! If you read through the 1st post linked above, a guy from overseas stated that:

"SQ wise I put these up against some other amps in a blind listening setup. Audison LRx, Jl / and a DLS A4 amp. 3 of 4 listeners prefered the RSd...

Don´t really get why PG has fallen so out of grace with the enthusiasts in the US, to me they still deliver the marbles. Unlike some other big brands..."

^^ Yes.. people are turned off by their looks, but they are better..

It looks so much better in real life and its a heavy mo fo too !

If the grey plastic piece wasnt on there id prob buy one but it looks ugly with it IMO

If only the RSD looked more like the limited edition stuff. Too bad they don't.
