PG Tantrum 400.4 questions

I am about to purchase this amp and have a few questions?

1.) The owners manual says to run 4 gauge wire for + and ground. I have 4 gauge to a splitter, and then 8 gauge to the amp. The ground is 8 gauge. Will this be OK for a 4x50 amp?

2.) After looking at the owners manual, it doesn't look like I can provide a HPF to the rear channels when running a 4-channel setup. Am I missing something? Is anybody doing this?

Oohh. thanks. And the frequency selector works both, right?

I am planning on running the 8 gauge to a T200.2 in bridged mode. Will that be alright?

Thanks.

One more question. The owners manual say 4x20 at 12.5V and 4x50 at 14.4V.

How do I know what my car is feeding it? How can I make sure it's 14.4V? 4x20 sounds awfully low.

OK. So I don't have to worry about the power dropping too much if the battery isn't putting out enough power.

I noticed the Octane owners manual just gives the 14.4 rating. Is there any way I might be better off with the Octane Series (R5.0:4) than the Trantrum? It's about $40 cheaper too:)

So if they are no matter should I still go for the Tantrum? Will it sound better/loader? Be more reliable?

I have already ordered my T200.2 for my sub amp and they give a rating of 200W@4 ohms but none at 2 ohms bridged. Can it do this?

Also, if I get a 4 ohm sub with a DVC can I run it at 2 ohms?
