Pg Rsdc vs type-r

I have a pair of PG RSd 10d subs that I am about to put in my 97 Civic just to change things up for the "winter" months. Right now they are each in .75 ft^3 gross and preliminary testing has them sounding pretty darn good.

If you are going sealed, I would recommend the Phoenix Gold subwoofers whereas if you are going ported I would recommend the Type R subwoofers.

Which of these subs do you think would preform better? Type R is all over with good reviews, haven't heard a lot about the PG.
Interested in some input:D
Preform better in what regard? If you want loud cheap and don't care about clarity, get the Hype-R. If not, consider the PG.

well, the type r does get quite loud. Sounds decent. PG Rsdc on the other hand sounds very good. It does get loud as well. But probably not as loud as the type r. But pretty **** close I think. I play various types of music and it never sounds sloppy. I hit 146.3db's with my two, on a 49hz tone.

Type R's don't sound that bad sq wise? I had a few and thought they sounded ntb, not great but not bad...then the pg says thats a spl woofer...hmm
Nothing pg has ever made has been geared to spl... The pg is a better overall woofer. Not as loud as the r, but better musicly..
