PG RSd tweeter placement? (pics)

My tweeters are currently by the midbass drivers in the lower half of my door. They are not pointed at my ears, so should i move then up higher in the door or would it be to close to my ear?

to where it would be, on the outside of door panel, actually a few inches to the right of the red cirlce

I have my midbass in the doors and the tweeter up in the sail; I like it. Try temporarily mounting the tweeter in different locations and see what you like best.

I would put them in the kick panels. We don't hear direction in the vertical plane as much as horizontal anyway (the way we determine the direction of sound is based on the inter-aural spacing of the ears, and your ears are on a horizontal axis)... it's better to keep the tweeter close to the mid and to have more-equal path-lengths.

i got different speakers but i just changed my tweeter location today

i moved them from the mirrior triangles to the kicks - kinda pointed straight across but angled slightly towards the seats and what a difference it made

i thought that the stage wouldnt be as high and would sound like it was coming from my feet.. granted it might be a little lower but not much.. the speakers are so much harder to localize, blend better, sound better at a distanec and are far less harsh...

but if you dont wanna do the kicks - i'd suggest putting them where they are in the first pic or somewhere more towards the floor than where your red circle is...

yea well i thought i made my final choice but after awhile i didnt like it anymore (guess i should of used a life line)

its ok tho i can cover it up pretty easily
