DLS experiences ppl, "My new Install"

Hey guys,

At the first i would like to tell u, I don't have much experience with speakers, Cuz in my country there is no high End speakers, Just Pioneer,Crap Sony, Kenwood...

Do don't tell me to go and listen to speaker then u can decide.. OK

So i need some experience Suggs..

I searched and found the DLS is great, So i was thinking about these comps.

Ultimate series UR6i

Ultimate Iridium 6.2i

UP6

I need it for my new setup.

Car : MB CLK 03

Comp AMP: McIntosh MC4000M 4x100 , 2x300

Subs: 2x DD 1510

HO ALT 150A

Rear Fill: DDC6.5 or pioneer REV6.5

Any other suggs would be Accepted .. but i prefer to be from these brands:

Boston

MB quart

JL " Not a fan" Expensive, But if there is anything great i may think.

Eclipse

HERTZ

please i need something really good, Cuz i don't want to replace them soon. I hope i'll like them..

Budget around 400$

I want to know if the DLS is better than these BOSTON, MB Quart, HERTZ .. I don't know much about these brands and i know its a silly question but in i ment general . Cuz i should choose from these , So i need to know whats the best ..

HERTZ HSK ... compared to ??? maybe UR6i

or i should go with DLS .. UR6i or UP6i ...

And is there a big diff between the Iridium & UR6i

This is where it depends on what you like. The New Quarts arent as good as they were in years past, and the use metal dome tweeters which are harsh to me, same for the Boston tweeters but thats just what I prefer. I almost bought the Herts HSK and they are great speaker. Sounded a lot like the DLS, but I think the mids on the DLS had a little more punch which is why I bought them, plus not as many people own DLS

I've used Bostons and DLS, and tend to find I like the DLS slightly better. I had the older Pros and the tweeters were not as harsh as I thought they would be, but my pros needed lots of power to get going. The DLS on the other hand, had very nice highs, and the midbass was quite strong, on half the power I was giving the pros. Overall I like DLS over the Bostons, but the Bostons were still a great set.

but if the Iridium would be alot better i'd go for it , I can save money and get it ..
