We don't hear direction in the vertical plane as much as horizontal anyway (the way we determine the direction of sound is based on the inter-aural spacing of the ears, and your ears are on a horizontal axis)... it's better to keep the tweeter close to the mid and to have more-equal path-lengths.</p></blockquote><p></p>
