hmm, so you're saying infinity was the best home speakers of all time befor HK bought them over.Originally posted by brad.farmer April 16, 2003
Alright, you don't know much about Infinity. Let me fill in. They started out as the best home theater speaker company. got bought out, by harmon kardon, then they just change. before they were bought out, they produced a line of speakers called the sm seies. these speakers set high quality standards at the company of infinity. they beat every speaker on the market, and listed fairly high. the sm150+ listed for 2,500 bucks. they handle 500 rms, and go down to 45 hertz.
they get louder than stage speakers. they sound great. shake the floor. but not noisy.
next time you speak give 'the farmboy' some respect homie.

I agree..my inifinity's aren't what I would daresay superior... it's better than those all in one hifi component packages, but I dont' think it'd be featured inany audiophile shows anytime soon.Originally posted by jlaine
Infinity nor their parent company past or present were never the best home theater company, they were never on an exhaulted pillar, they are considered mid-line at best to true audiophiles.
Can you prove as much? I have RTA graphs to prove mine - how about you?
