I don't understand you. First you're the know-it-all guy who doesn't agree with anyone on this board. Now you're asking questions and saying things that are the complete opposite of what you've said in the past. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gifOriginally posted by brad.farmer Sir, I do not want to fight. I just want to find out information.
Alright, I am the person who posted, that these towers go down to 45 hertz. Yes, they are not the best, they are good speakers. Sir, you have to remember, though these speakers were made about twelve years ago. They were made to be loud home theater speakers, not low bass speakers. Thank you for the info you have given me, I do appreciate, but I already knew it.
There is a couple of things I would like to know, though. Of course, if you are wiling to find, sir.
Alright, I do not have the owner manual for the Infinity SM150+ home theater tower speakers. And I was wonder a couple of things:
1.) How high do these polycell dome tweetes go up to?
2.) What is the crossover range?
3.) Is it true that it handles 500 RMS and 1,500 RMS
NOTE: The S150+ has other speakers, that look just alike. For instance, the SM155s are a newer version, but not as good as the SM150+s.
If you chose to help me, I do however have to say this, it would be a great appreciation, sir.

What W7 have you heard? What W7 have you owned and tested to verify these numbers? I believe it's safe to say that the answer is: none. You can easily substitute any other driver in those last two questions and I'd bet the answer is the same each time.It is clean, becasue of the huge magnets, nice voice coils, huge amount of Xmax, huge cone area, and expensive supplies. It goes down to 26 Hz, if i recollect correctly. It handles 1,000 RMS. And, at 3,000 watts, the warranty is void on the subwoofer. At 2,000 watts, the subwoofer will play, but will sound noisy, and will burn up the speaker, once played too loudly.

Boyeeee...
Mr. Farmer- infinity specifically doesn't release specifics like that, because they don't want the design to be known. If the gave out specifics like crossover design, drivers used, and implementation, it would be like Chevy handing out the copyrights to the LS1 to Ford...
I'd love to meet you Mr.Farmer... I'm 6'2".. but i actually have muscle (oh, and i won't believe your 6'5" w/o pictures).. I don't like little sh*ts that are full of themselves, i like to squash them.Originally posted by brad.farmer april 16, 2003
