Alright, this is how subwoofers USUALY work. Twelves, don't get very loud, but can deliver ultra clear notes. Fifteens get loud, and deliver notes that are sort of clean, but not completlyl. Meanwhile 18s are usualy very loud, but very noisy, which causes them to be very unclean.
18s cost a lot, but they are ideal for people, who like loud spekaers, and don't care, about cleanliness. So just keep this in mind, when buying subwoofer speakers.

what do you mean, by blah? I am delivering USUAL facts. Now I know, that the Image Dynamics 12 handles 1,000 RMS. 12w7 handles 750 RMS. 13w7, handles 1,000 RMS. Kicker solo x 18, handles 5,000 RMS, and is one of very few clean 18s. Kikcer l7 15 handles 1,000 rms.
So before you blab, like that again, don't insult the expert:nono:

none of those are offbrands. every post you've made that i have seen has been completley wrong!! 18 cant sound good? i guess thats why most of the elite home stereos have them cus they sound so bad. you can make a 10 louder than a 18 and a 18 sound better then a 10. its how you use it
you seem to have misplaced the Brahma 15.. oh wait, it isn't on there, so i'll rate it for you.. (Too good for you). And, the solo-x will sound like butthole in any enclosure made by the average joe. And L7's are dirty as hell. As far as i know, the XXX will perform very well in SQ, those come 10-18, and i bet the 18 could sound just as good as the others.
