Passive Crossovers DIY?

yes, you can do it, but there's a limit to it, since it's passive. i think you can only go to like a 12db/octave slope, and they should mainly be used with speakers, no subs, or at least i think. i've got a book about it somewhere around here, i'll try to resurect it and let ya know:)

 
if u go to any major audio store, theyll sale you some bass blockers u can put on the + wire going to the speaker... i just bought some today at frys electronics... theylll run u about 10 bux...

well they list that frequence response so I will try to use it. Also, does it help to have the marine speakers in their towers for such a thing...

Yep. It would be a little over 3 wired in series, but that’s fine.

Agreed. I was actually thinking of building a 3-way passive and I compared the cost to a Dayton DSP and it makes no sense to go passive.
