parents are getting me a car for college....which one?

i knwo im spoiled, but ill probably pay for half of it.................im looking for one with good amount of trunk space to keep hockey gear (goalie bag) and mabye havve a good 12" sub.........gas milage needs to be good, that is more importaint than anything

any seggestions?

new or used, i guess under 10K cuz i only have like 5K in the bank

If you can work on it yourself you can get some nice cars for 10k. I would personally be looking at either a BMW E36 3 series or an Acura 3.2TL.

anything jap, bmw 3 series, vw golf, im not a fan of pickups for daily drivers cos stuff can get jacked out da back even with a lid pretty easy.and im not a fan of bling cos it attracts theives. get a medium sized economical functional car (80 mph on the freeway all day with easy and comfy for vacations) and put a nice system in it stealth and a good alarm. you should be good for a few years.

A used Chevy Blazer. Decent on gas. Trucks are comfortable on long trips. Plenty of room in the hatch for stuff.
